Rain wont keep us from a Great Wedding!
After several days of straight rain, the forecast called for another rainy Saturday. But that was not going to stop me from photographing this special couple. I find myself loving a challenge, and what better challenge than rain? We gathered our gear and clear umbrellas and headed to the American Legion in Hampstead Md. Every time I bring my clear umbrellas, it turns out that I don't NEED them because the rain held off, and so was the case today. The ground was still wet so Our Bride Kaitlyn and Groom Austin chose to change the ceremony to the beautiful pavilion where the reception will be held. It worked out perfectly, and so my day began.
I caught up with Kaitlyn and her bridal party who were all in the bridal suite. They were having a blast in their matching pajamas before changing into their wedding attire. I quickly got to work on all of their details. She had such a beautiful array of items. I think my favorite was the his and her vow books and the perfume & cologne bottles. The bride got dressed and we had a little fun with her bridesmaids and her brother the man of honor. We finished inside with the Bride and off to see the Groom. Outside the rain held off allowing me to take pictures in the grass. Everyone looked so handsome in their suits.
The decor for their wedding was Black & White with Sage Green, a perfect combination for a spring wedding. The bride's girls wore black dresses and her man of honor and groomsmen wore black suits. The tables were decorated in white with black accents and a hint of greenery all around the reception.
This was a wedding with a great group of friends and family of the Bride & Groom. The reception was full of dancing, laughter, and a few songs sung to the Bride & Groom by their friends.
Weddings are always an event to cherish and the small details are what brings the day together as an unforgettable experience. This couple was not lacking in the small details that just made their wedding perfect!
