A Beautiful Bel Air Mansion Wedding
As soon as I arrived at this Bel Air Mansion tucked away at the end of a quiet neighborhood I knew we were going to have an amazing day. Both the Ceremony and the Reception took place at The historic Liriodendron mansion, built-in 1898. It was the summer home of Dr. Howard A. Kelly, one of the four founding physicians of Johns Hopkins Hospital.
Sold to Harford County in the late 1970s, the mansion now operates as a historic, cultural, educational, and recreational facility, managed by the nonprofit Liriodendron Foundation, Inc. Click here to go to their website. https://liriodendron.com/
I was so excited about Natasha & Jim's wedding day. I first met Natasha over the summer and then I met Jim for their engagement shoot. I could see right away the love these two shared, and it was evident in their shoot. They have waited a long time for their wedding day and to be together in the same state. Jim is originally from West Africa and moved to Italy where the two of them met. They spent several years falling in love with a long distant relationship. Now they are finally together becoming a family.
All of the details were perfect from the invitation to the ombre of purple dresses. The wedding dress was full of crystal beads that glimmered all over. Gold and white decor filled the mansion for the reception. Once the dance floor opened up the guests were all dancing and having a blast the entire night. I don't remember a song where there were no people dancing and rocking the house.
I was able to slip away with the bride and groom to get some final pictures on the front stone walkway with all the gleaming lights. A magical ending to a wonderful wedding. Congratulations Natasha & Jim.
